3 & 4 Player Arcade Games Vol 2 Pandora Game Console

More games for a full couch

3 & 4 Player Arcade Games Vol 2 is the second card we built for nights when two players is not enough. It picks up where the first volume left off, with Capcom brawlers that never got a fair home port, a few Konami four-player cabinets and some odd machines most people only saw once at a bowling alley.

Four friends on one screen was the whole point of these cabinets. Operators put them in arcades because a group of kids would feed a machine together for an hour. That still works in a living room, and it is the reason we keep adding to this collection on the Pandora Game Console.

What is on Volume 2

Some of what is on the card:

• Aliens vs Predator, Capcom's 1994 brawler with Dutch Schaefer and the Predator hunters
• Battletoads, the Rare arcade version, which is harder and stranger than the NES game
• Knights of the Round, King of Dragons and Warriors of Fate
• The Punisher and Armored Warriors
• Mercs, a three-player military shooter
• GI Joe, Konami's four-player shooter
• Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
• Rampage, plus the N64 editions of Rampage World Tour and Rampage Universal Tour
• Night Slashers, Pit Fighter and Double Dragon 3
• Knights of Valour and Oriental Legend

There is more on it than that, including Xenophobe, Quartet, Punk Shot and the 3 player version of Gain Ground. Click for Game List on the product page to read every title before you add the card.

The Capcom side of the card

If you only know Final Fight, the early 90s Capcom beat 'em ups are the reason to buy this. Knights of the Round has a leveling system that changes your knight's armor as you go. Warriors of Fate is a Three Kingdoms brawler with horseback sections. Armored Warriors puts you in mechs that can swap parts off fallen enemies. Aliens vs Predator is the one people ask about most, and it still holds up with three players on the screen at once.

Getting three or four players going

A standard panel gives you two sets of controls. For players three and four you need extra controllers on the console, and our parts section has the 3 & 4 Player Wireless Joystick Set and a 3rd Player Wired Joystick for that. Plenty of these games also play fine with two, so the card earns its slot even on quiet nights.

Compatibility and card notes

Volume 2 works with Pandora Platinum Pro consoles only. It will not work in consoles built on any mainboard that is not a Pandora Platinum board. You choose it from the archive card options when you build your Pandora Game Console, and it sits next to any other card you pick.

We test every card on the Pro board, but we cannot guarantee how any single archived title will perform, and titles can be removed from the card at our discretion without notice.

**Pandora Game Console consoles do not come with any pre-installed licensed or unlicensed software. Any Added Archive service is provided as-is with no implied warranties or licenses. Performance of archive has been tested and will work with your Pandora Platinum Pro version console. Adding an archive card constitutes your acknowledgement of ownership of original licensed hardware/software and your request of the service permits us to perform archiving for you on your behalf as a service.
