4 Player Expansion Hub for Pandora Game Console Wireless

The missing piece for four player wireless

Out of the box, the Pandora Game Console Platinum Wireless Edition runs two wireless joysticks through one Bluetooth receiver. That covers player one and player two. The 4 Player Expansion Hub is the USB add-on that lets the same console take on players three and four, so a full four player game can run on the Wireless Edition.

It is a small part with a single job. Without it, a second pair of wireless controllers has nowhere to connect. With it plugged in, four wireless players can join the same arcade game.

What else you need

The hub only adds the connection. You still need two more controllers to use it. On the Wireless Edition page these are offered as package upgrades:

• Add 3rd & 4th Player Arcade Sticks, for a matching set of four sticks
• Add 3rd & 4th Player Controller Pads, for players who prefer a pad

The Wireless Controller Pads Set Only comes with its own receiver but not the expansion dongle, and its listing says the same thing we are saying here: for a 3 and 4 player setup with those pads you also need this expansion hub. Games worth the extra players

The 3 and 4 Player Arcade Games Archive Card is the reason most people go to four. It holds the arcade brawlers and sports games that were built around four joysticks on one cabinet.

The Simpsons in its four player arcade version, X-Men, Sunset Riders and both arcade Turtles games are the obvious picks. Vendetta and Captain Commando are close behind. On the sports side there is NBA Jam Tournament Edition, 2 on 2 Open Ice Challenge and Football Champ, all of which get very loud with four people on the couch. Which console it is for

The hub is meant for the Pandora Game Console Wireless Edition, the premium wireless version of the Pandora Platinum. The wired Single Panel and Dual Panel consoles are a different design, and this part is not the way to add players to them. If you are not sure which version you own, look at how your joysticks connect: two wireless sticks and a small console box next to the TV means a Wireless Edition.

Getting it running

Plug the hub into the console, then map the new controllers in the system settings the first time you use them, the same way you set up the first two. You only do that once per controller. If a controller will not show up, check that the hub is seated all the way in before anything else, and call US SUPPORT in Las Vegas if it still will not connect.
