Four players, four arcade sticks

Picture the old Simpsons cabinet: four joysticks across the front, one for each of Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa. The Wireless Joystick Kit for 3 & 4 Player Arcade Games gives your Pandora Game Console Platinum that same front row, with two wireless arcade sticks for the players who usually end up watching.

People who already own a two player panel ask us all the time how the other two people are supposed to join in. This kit is the Pandora Platinum way to do it.

Sticks, not pads

You could hand players three and four a couple of controller pads. For console games that is fine. For an arcade brawler it changes the game, because the two people on pads are playing a different control scheme from the two people on the panel. Arcade games were tuned for a lever and buttons, and these are full arcade sticks built to the same idea, designed from the ground up for the Pandora Game Console Platinum line.

The Konami four player run

Sunset Riders, X-Men and The Simpsons Arcade Game are the obvious reasons to buy this kit. Konami made a whole run of four player arcade games around the same time, and the 3 and 4 Player Arcade Games Archive Card carries a good chunk of them:

Setting the kit up

The first time you use wireless controllers on the Pandora Platinum, you map them in the system settings so the console knows which stick belongs to which player. After that they are ready whenever you turn the console on. If you own the Wireless Edition, you will also want the 4 Player Expansion Hub, the piece that lets that console accept a third and fourth wireless controller.

How far the compatibility goes

We engineered this kit to work with many games on the Pandora Game Console Platinum. We cannot guarantee how it performs with other models, including clone Pandora Box consoles.

It also works with games from the other consoles that run on Pandora Box Platinum hardware, with one limit. Some games need, or respond to, a different type of controller, and an arcade stick will not suit every game from every system ever made. When a console game wants analog sticks or extra shoulder buttons, use a pad for that one and save the sticks for the arcade card. Questions about your setup go to US SUPPORT in Las Vegas.
