Mortal Kombat Life Retro Archive Card Pandora Game Console

Every classic Mortal Kombat on one card

Mortal Kombat Life is for the people who still know the button code for Reptile. It is built around the history of the series: the arcade originals, the home ports everyone argued over at recess, and a couple of oddities hardcore fans will want to see for themselves.

The arcade versions

• Mortal Kombat (arcade)
• Mortal Kombat 2 (arcade)
• Mortal Kombat 3 (arcade)
• Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (arcade)

These are the versions that matter most, and they are the reason to own this card. Blood on, digitized fighters, the original sound.

The home ports

• Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on Super Nintendo
• Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate MK3 on Sega Genesis
• Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat Mythologies and Mortal Kombat Special Forces on PS1
• Mortal Kombat 4 Gold on Dreamcast

Play the Super Nintendo and Genesis versions back to back and you will finally settle which one was better. (It was the Genesis one. We will take calls on that.)

Bonus support

The card also carries Mortal Kombat 2 Plus, an unreleased version, and Mortal Kombat 2 Challenger. Neither one turns up often, which is half the fun.

Getting the most out of it

Mortal Kombat was built for a five-button arcade layout, so it feels right on a Pandora panel straight away. If you want the exact button feel of a Midway cabinet, add the Sanwa buttons upgrade when you build. Save states keep your place in the towers.

Add Mortal Kombat Life Retro to any of the three card slots in the console builder. Cards plug in at the back of the console and swap out whenever you like, so you can keep this one next to Fighting Masters and switch between them.

This card works with Pandora Platinum Pro consoles only. It is not compatible with older Pandora Platinum models or with consoles built on a non Pandora Platinum mainboard.
