About this product
Play a fighting game shoulder to shoulder on one panel and sooner or later somebody's elbow ends up in your ribs. The Platinum Pro Dual Panel splits the Pandora Game Console into two separate arcade controllers, so each player can sit wherever they want.
Inside, nothing changes. You still get the Pandora Platinum Pro mainboard, real arcade joysticks and buttons, and the carbon fiber look of the single panel. The layout is the difference, and in a lot of living rooms the layout is what decides it.
The two panels connect with the included serial cable. One stick works on its own as a 1 player unit, and plugging in the second panel makes it 2 players. If you mostly play alone, the second panel can sit on a shelf until company comes over.
A tip from our support line: when player two stops moving in one direction, or a button stops registering, the serial cable is usually not seated all the way. The LEDs on the second panel can light up even when the connection is only partial. Unplug both ends, look for bent pins, then push the plug back in firmly and screw it down.
No games come pre-installed. You add them as GameCraZE archive cards in the builder below, up to three, and each card has its game list one click away.
Every panel version takes Sanwa parts, and plenty of our fighting game customers pick the Dual Panel specifically to put them in. Choose one when you build:
Every Pandora arcade console can grow to four players. The wireless 3rd and 4th player joystick set works with the Dual Panel, so Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons and WWF Wrestlefest can be played with a full crew, the way they ran in the arcade. Those games are on the 3 and 4 Player Arcade Games Archive Card.
Connect over HDMI to a modern TV or over VGA to a monitor. Super HD upscaling fills a big screen without smearing the sprites. A menu setting switches the picture to 4:3, and save states hold your progress.
We back the Dual Panel with our Lifetime Mainboard Warranty. It covers the mainboard and power supply powering on, the main case chassis, and the attachment cords and HDMI cable. Joystick assemblies, tops, controller pads and sticks carry a limited 90 day warranty, and when they wear out we sell replacements part by part. Archive cards are not covered, and neither is user error or any hardware or software modification you make. Call US SUPPORT in Las Vegas at 1-702-827-7701 with questions.
**Pandora Game Console consoles do not come with any pre-installed licensed or unlicensed software. Any Added Archive service is provided as-is with no implied warranties or licenses. Imitators copy the look. They can’t copy the board, the curated game archives, the Lifetime Mainboard Warranty or real US SUPPORT. Every Pandora Game Console ships with genuine arcade-grade parts.
