About this product
Anyone who has played a fighting game shoulder to shoulder on one panel knows the problem. Elbows collide, someone leans, someone else cries foul. The Dual Panel fixes that by splitting the Pandora Game Console into two separate arcade controllers, so each player sits where they like.
It has everything the original single panel has: the Pandora Platinum Pro mainboard, real arcade joysticks and buttons and the same carbon fiber design. The only real difference is the layout, and for a lot of households that is the whole point.
The two panels connect with the included serial cable. Use one stick by itself as a 1 player unit, or connect the second panel for 2 players. Playing solo most nights? Leave the second panel on the shelf.
One tip from our support line. If player two stops moving in one direction or a button stops registering, the serial cable is usually not fully seated. Lit-up LEDs on the second panel do not always mean a full connection. Unplug both ends, check that no pins are bent, then push it back in firmly and screw it down.
No games come pre-installed. You add them as GameCraZE archive cards in the builder below, up to three, and every card's game list is one click away.
All panel versions can take Sanwa parts, and the Dual Panel is where many of our fighting game customers put them. Pick the upgrade when you build the console:
Every Pandora arcade console can grow to four players. The wireless 3rd and 4th player joystick set works with the Dual Panel, so Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons and WWF Wrestlefest can be played the way they were in the arcade. Add the 3 and 4 Player Arcade Games Archive Card and game night is sorted.
HDMI to any modern TV, or VGA to a monitor. Super HD upscaling fills a large screen without turning the sprites to mush, and you can switch to 4:3 from the menu. Save states keep your progress.
Every console carries our Lifetime Mainboard Warranty, which covers the mainboard and power supply powering on, the main case chassis and the attachment cords and HDMI cable. Joystick assemblies, tops, controller pads and sticks get a limited 90 day warranty, and they are sold part by part when they wear out. Archive cards, user error and your own hardware or software modifications are not covered. Questions go to US SUPPORT in Las Vegas at 1-702-827-7701.
