The Platinum Pro Firmware Upgrade Service puts the newest Pandora Platinum Pro release on your Pandora Game Console. This is the latest upgrade we offer and the best board we sell right now, and with it your archive cards play faster and cleaner, with support for more systems than before.
We keep working on the Pro board after it ships. Sound gets fixed, controller mappings get better, and every so often a whole new console joins the list. This service is how an existing owner gets those changes.
The TurboGrafx-16 support is the headline. NEC's console never sold in big numbers in the US, but its library of shooters and platformers is a favorite with collectors, and now the Pro board plays it. The sound fix is the change you will notice most in the games you already own, because older arcade samples come through clearer.
Some of the consoles and arcade systems the Pandora Game Console Platinum Pro runs, with more beyond these: PS1, Final Burn Alpha, Nintendo 64, Neo Geo, PSP, Dreamcast, Super Nintendo, the original Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advance, Sega Master System, MAME, PC Engine, and the Naomi and Atomiswave arcade systems.
It works with the GameCraZE archive cards, so you build your game list the same way as always: pick the cards for the games you like and plug them in.
The Pro board swaps easily into existing Pandora Platinum hardware. It is also designed to work with some clone Pandora arcade joysticks, including the Pandora 2, 3, 3s, 4, 4s, 5, 6, 7, 11s, 15s and 30s, the Pandora DX and the Pandora Austar.
Read the next part before you order if your stick is not ours. The board may work in other arcade setups too, but we do not guarantee it, troubleshoot it, warranty it or promise any level of performance in any home arcade setup or conversion other than a Pandora Platinum Pro chassis or a Pandora Game Console Platinum Pro product. If you install it in unsupported hardware or modify something and it goes wrong, that is on you, and we cannot offer a refund or a replacement.

**Pandora Game Console consoles do not come with any pre-installed licensed or unlicensed software. Any Added Archive service is provided as-is with no implied warranties or licenses. Performance of archive has been tested and will work with your Pandora Platinum Pro version console. Adding an archive card constitutes your acknowledgement of ownership of original licensed hardware/software and your request of the service permits us to perform archiving for you on your behalf as a service.
