About this product
The Retro Arcade Games List Archive is the card for the games people used to line up behind. It covers coin-op classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s across nearly every genre an arcade had, from maze games and shooters to beat 'em ups, puzzle games and the first fighters.
It is also the deepest list we offer. If you are not sure which card to start with and your best memories involve a pizza place and a roll of quarters, start here.
For most people the maze and single-screen games come first: Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Dig Dug and Joust. They are short and hard, and one more credit is always the plan.
The shooters on the card run from 1942 to DoDonPachi, which is about as far apart as two shooters can get and still share a genre. 1942 gives you a single plane and a few bullets to dodge. DoDonPachi fills the screen. Beat 'em up fans get Final Fight, Double Dragon and Knights of the Round, all good with two players on one panel.
The original Street Fighter is on here too. The first cabinet used two big pressure-sensitive pads instead of buttons, and you hit them harder for a stronger attack. Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition sits a few rows below it in the list, if you want to see how quickly the genre grew up.
That is a dozen games out of hundreds. Open Click for Game List in the builder and give yourself some time.
Many maze games, Pac-Man included, were built for a 4-way joystick. If an 8-way stick feels slippery in those, our 4-way restrictor plate in the Arcade Parts section limits the lever to four directions. For the classic shape on screen, switch the picture to 4:3 in the menu.
Add the Retro Arcade Games List Archive to any of the three card slots when you build your Pandora Game Console. It plugs into the back and trades places with your other cards whenever you like.
A Pandora Platinum Pro console is required. The card is not compatible with older Pandora Platinum models or with any console built on a non Pandora Platinum mainboard.
The game list adds that archived games can be removed at any time if we deem it necessary, and that we offer no guarantee of expected performance of your backup. The console warranty does not extend to archive cards.
**Pandora Game Console consoles do not come with any pre-installed licensed or unlicensed software. Any Added Archive service is provided as-is with no implied warranties or licenses. Performance of archive has been tested and will work with your Pandora Platinum Pro version console. Adding an archive card constitutes your acknowledgement of ownership of original licensed hardware/software and your request of the service permits us to perform archiving for you on your behalf as a service.
Imitators copy the look. They can’t copy the board, the curated game archives, the Lifetime Mainboard Warranty or real US SUPPORT. Every Pandora Game Console ships with genuine arcade-grade parts.
