One series, start to 3rd Strike

The Street Fighter Masters Archive Card is one series on one card: Capcom's Street Fighter, from the 1987 arcade original through Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, with a few spin-offs you may not know existed. Wherever the game list has an arcade edition of a game, that is the version you get.

The spin-offs are half the fun. Street Fighter 2010 on the NES is a side-scrolling action game starring a cyborg version of Ken, and it has almost nothing to do with the fighting games. Street Fighter the Movie is the arcade game built from digitized footage of the film's actors. Both are here, next to the games everyone remembers.

The Street Fighter II family

Street Fighter II went through a lot of arcade revisions, and players picked sides on every one of them. The card has Street Fighter 2, Championship Edition and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, all as arcade editions. Hyper Street Fighter 2 lets you choose which revision of each character you play as, so the old arguments can be settled in one match. There is also Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Legacy Edition, which the list calls an exclusive rework, and a bonus copy of Street Fighter Rainbow Edition.

Alpha, EX and III

The Alpha games went back in time, filling in the story before Street Fighter II with a younger cast and a faster pace. The card has the arcade Street Fighter Alpha and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, the PSP edition with extra characters. Street Fighter EX was the first attempt at Street Fighter in 3D, made with Arika, and it is more fun than its reputation.

Then there is Street Fighter III, which threw out almost the whole cast and started again. 3rd Strike is the version people still play, and it is the one we would put on first. X-Men vs Street Fighter is on the card as well, if you want tag teams and very long combos.

Played on a real stick

Street Fighter was designed around six buttons, three punches and three kicks, and the motions were made for an arcade lever. If your hands land on the wrong button in one of the older games, the Pro board lets you remap them per game. For anyone who plays these seriously, the Sanwa upgrade on the console is worth it. Which consoles it fits

Add the Street Fighter Masters Archive Card to any of the three card slots when you build your Pandora Game Console. It is made for Pandora Platinum Pro consoles and does not work in consoles with a non Pandora Platinum mainboard.
